18 years of CVHN. As our ‘milestone’ birthday lit up on the April calendar, it caught us all by surprise. New Mental Health Resources Coming to Local Area
Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) and The Youth Mental Health Project are introducing regional chapters of The Parent Support Network to the panhandle. Two local events will be held in Okaloosa and Walton counties to discuss The Parent Support Network and the regional chapters being developed. The new resources will provide local parents and caregivers who are concerned about their children’s mental health with an opportunity to find and support each other in a confidential and safe space. Children’s Volunteer Health Network has officially announced their new Executive Director, Megan Trent. Trent has worked for CVHN for three years, serving numerous roles within the organization, such as Mental Health Coordinator and most recently, Associate Executive Director. CVHN Unveils New Mobile Dental Clinic
Children's Volunteer Health Network, an organization that provides free access to dental and mental health services to children in need in Northwest Florida, has announced the arrival of their second mobile dental clinic. The first bus, gifted to CVHN from the Dugas Family Foundation, is an operatory clinic on wheels. Children's Volunteer Health Network held its inaugural Soiree On The Bay event on March 18 and 19, benefitting the free dental services they provide to children in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
